where's the a/c?

Am I the only one at 12 Yonge with no A/C? My place is consistently over 26 degrees during the day which is too high for comfort. I don't understand how the hallways have a/c but my apartment doesn't? I tried propping my door open but
1. I don't feel comfortable with an unlocked door and
2. it doesn't cool my place down enough.

Just wanted to see if it's the building just hasn't turned it on yet or if it's just me.

I live at 16 Yonge and my air cons not on yet either. I believe the main has to be switched on. I don't know when but hoping sometimes soon, because last couple of weeks been real hot in my unit as well. Although i heard it will cool down this week. Does anyone have any idea when it will be turned on?

there is usually a set date as to when the a/c will be turned on. i think its sometime in may.

It was apparently turned on today. I lowered my thermostat to see if it works. But i'm not getting any cold air coming in. I wait little longer until the weather warms up to see if the cold air comes in. If not i going to have to call the builder to get it fixed again. Seems like every year I have this problem when they switch over from heat to cold. Please let me know if anyone else is having problems with air con? Thanks

I'm not getting any cool air either. Called and also walked in downstairs...they said they fixed the problem today because apparently there was a problem. But so what... it's almost 10 pm and I'm getting nothing. My thermostat's still saying 78 F. Hate this place...

I can really sympathize with you. I had many issues with my HVAC as well. But i think it's finally fixed because yesterday when i got home the cold air was coming out. I suggest you wait couple more days to see if the cold air comes out, because apparently from what i was told is that there's a different time setting for each unit and floors. If it doesn't work after that then i suggest go back to property manager. it could be faulty. let me no how it goes.
