WHat makes you think the Corporation isn't going to charge them back?

This is a Board of DIrectors decision.

The property manager makes no decisions. It is the Board you should be complaining about. If you do not like the way they are handling things, run for a Director's position!

I don't think they (management) know who starts the fire alarms..

I have it from a reliable source that the Corporation isn't going to charge anyone because nobody was actually identified - all they know is that two people stole the fire extinguishers, they don't know who these two people were! So i guess the notices in the elevators were a bit misleading.

And management IS looking into the cause of the fire alarms - they are supposed to have taken reasonable steps to prevent false alarms so hopefully we won't get charged the whole amount by the fire department.

As far as malicious alarms go, what can management do if we have a bunch of losers living in the building(s)? Their lives must be pretty pathetic that they have to set off fire alarms for fun!
