Smoke Detectors

Hello, anyone have any suggestions for an issue i am having. Everytime I cook, I mean everytime I cook my smoke detector goes off. I understand if I am frying something and it gets a little smokey the proximity of the detector makes sense it would go off as it's a safety percaution. I am talking about I put the oven on self cleaning it goes off, bake a pie it goes off, bake french fries it goes off when i turn them then again when I check them and finally one more time when i go to take them out and eat them. it's getting to the point I only eat out...can't keep that up for ever.

Now I am aware my neigbours who are limited at the moment but when i do have some it going to be a pain. i want to cook something at midnight but have fear of waking up my entire floor. I do not want to disconnect the smoke detector for that is just against my common sense.

Any ideas, I hate to bug management but may need to out of respect for my neighbours.
